  17. Best Sports Streamer

    Pending

A Pending category for real-world sports streaming, including watch-alongs, commentary and analysis. Sports video games belong in Gaming. The individual-streamer requirements apply: Nepali citizenship or Nepali descent through at least one parent, and at least 20 qualifying public streams of at least 30 minutes each between November 1, 2025 and October 31, 2026. More than half of all qualifying streams in that window must focus on real-world sports. This category runs only if it meets the Pending-category nomination threshold.

Before you nominate

Participants must be 16 or older. Individual streamers must be Nepali citizens or of Nepali descent through at least one parent, with at least 20 qualifying public streams in the November 1, 2025–October 31, 2026 eligibility window. Each stream must last at least 30 minutes on YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, Kick or Twitch. Evidence can be VOD links or platform live-history screenshots. Esports players and teams have their own tournament requirements.

YouTuber of the Year uses uploaded videos instead of the 20-stream requirement. The same Nepali citizenship or descent rule and eligibility window apply. At least 10 original videos must have been uploaded in that window, each strictly longer than 3 minutes; Shorts do not count toward the 10. Group channels are allowed: nominate the channel. Best Sports Streamer follows the individual-streamer requirements, with more than half of all qualifying streams in the window focused on real-world sports. Watch-alongs, commentary and analysis count; sports video games belong in Gaming.

Pending categories need at least five eligible candidates with at least 100 accepted distinct nominators each. Core categories need at least three eligible candidates to run. Individual streamers and YouTuber of the Year channels, including group channels, follow the same shortlist limit: two counted categories, with Streamer of the Year allowed in addition. YouTuber of the Year counts as one of the two.
